Adieu Keshi The Big Boss

The People of Nigeria and the African continent woke up on June 8, 2016, to the sad news that Stephen Okechukwu#Keshi had passed on to the Great beyond.

It was a very sad day for the Football fraternity, and sports lovers, at a time when they were still mourning #The Greatest boxer #Muhammad Ali

A lot of people have been paying Tributes on the pages of newspapers and on social media

My heart goes to his parents, children, and relatives he left behind,I pray that The Good LORD will comfort them.

They should take solace in the fact, that his legacy lives on and he was indeed an Achiever

Among the many things he achieved are

Youngest ever Captain of the Super Eagles

Longest serving Captain of The Super Eagles

One of the first Nigerian footballers to make a successful career in Europe

Captain of the 1994 African Cup Champion

First person to Captain the Super Eagles at the World cup

Coach of The Togolese Team that qualified for the World cup against all odds in a group that had the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon with their array of star players

Coach of the 2006 African Nations Cup Champion

The first coach to qualify two African countries for the World cup

The first Nigerian Coach to win a match at the world cup

Two-times CAF African Coach of the year

He was also a charismatic leader and was the most influential captain the Super Eagles ever had

He had indeed written his name in the sands of Time and left a very big shoe to be filled.

May God comfort the family he left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
